My Brother on Oprah!

If you didn’t catch it today, I hope you set your DVR! My brother is a super star! He was on Oprah this afternoon and he did amazing! (Yes, I recorded it on a VHS tape. I am old school.) I was so proud to see him so confident and witty holding his own with the Queen of day time (or any time) television. Did you see her hold his hand?!? He talked about Project Runway, his book, showed some of his new gowns and plugged his Payless Shoe line. If you haven’t seen it, check out Oprah’s website for a link to the 50% off Payless offer and see his behind the scenes video. It is pretty funny. This kid is blowing up! He is also going to have a new show on Bravo TV. I don’t have details yet, but I saw this blog on the Bravo website. (Yes, I have to google his name to find out what is going on.)

I am a very proud sister. What do we think of this, in white, for June?

I came upon your blog by fluke a while back. Just FYI :) As you don't know me.

And WOW, that would be an AMAZING dress in white! Stunning!

I've always loved your brother. He's my fave winner on all seasons of all the Project Runways!

I just sent him an email with some dress-inspiration including this picture.

Thanks so much for the note!

I also came upon your blog by fluke a while back -- and your brother is my favorite designer on project runway -- I am probably your Mom's age, and I have enjoyed the family insight -- but really mostly I read your blog because I find what you do interesting - How does someone who BAKES so many goodies able to stay so slim? Well, it must be the dancing. Keep enjoying life my dear and sharing with others. This summer I lost my brother so sometimes your blog is a good healer.

I am so lucky to have such great people who read the blog and support my brother. Thank you so much for your comment. The dancing definitely helps keep the pounds off, but I am blessed with a fast metabolism. It will catch up with me one of these days, but until then, I will enjoy my sweets:)

I take a peek at your blog every now and then. It's amazing to see how far your brother has come.

BTW... congrats on your upcoming celebration!
